Chessed Opportunities
The Chessed branch of Kesher is devoted to connecting single women of Passaic to the many wonderful Chessed opportunities that can be found in Passaic.
- Yad Basya:
- An organization created to help families in crisis due to medical issues. Opportunities for volunteers to help in the following:
- respite care
- cooking
- driving

- Project Gesher:
- A Chessed organization that aims to provide special education services to children whose parents cannot afford the prohibitive prices of remedial help. Those without degree are welcome to volunteer as well.
- Tomchei Shabbos:
- A Chessed organization to provide food to those who are in financial need. Available volunteer opportunities are:
- packing food every 4th Wednesday 5-6:30
- driving the elderly to stores
- delivering Shabbos meals on Friday
- cooking food

- Open Dresser:
- A women's clothing thrift shop. Open Sunday evenings 7-8:30 pm. Volunteers needed during store hours to sell and sort clothes. Hours also available by appointment to sort clothes.
